Irapuato
Progressive city that combines the rich history of the state with modernity and industrial development. It is known as the "Strawberry Capital of the World". Among its attractions can be mentioned the Temple of San Francisco de Paula; the Parish of Nuestra Señora de la Soledad, construction of 1600; the Temple of Misericordia of the 16th century; the Convent of San Francisco, built in 1799; the Parque Hidalgo Zoo; and the Museum of the City, where a collection of archaeological pieces, documents and photographs of the Irapuatense history is exhibited.
Where the city is currently based, there was a huge lake formed by the waters of the Guanajuato and Silao rivers. The primitive settlers of the place settled on the shores of the lake, as evidenced by the archaeological ruins found on the hill of Arandas and Rancho Grande.
Let yourself be captivated by this city, prepare your route, pack your bags and rent a car with us. In Alamo Mexico we have the right package for your trip, whether for pleasure or business.
