Cancellation or Refund Policy

Any change in your reservation may be requested through our Call Center at (800) 849 8001​​ at least 12 hours prior to the reserved time; to request a cancellation or refund you must send an email to reembolsos@alamo.com.mx.

Reservations that have not been previously paid will have a tolerance period of 2 hours to pick up the car; after this period the reservation will be subject to availability, releasing Alamo Mexico from any responsibility.

Pre paid reservations will have a tolerance period of 6 hours to pick up the car; after this period the reservation will be subject to availability and in case of cancellation, the corresponding penalty percentages will be applied.

In the online pre payment mode at www.alamo.com.mx or through our Call Center, the name of the client that appears in the reservation must match the name of the credit card holder, official identification and valid driver's license presented at the time of picking up the car.

For all Pre paid reservations that require a modification to the established date, the place where the car will be delivered must be notified at least 12 hours in advance. If the rental is greater, the difference of days in relation to the initial delivery date will be charged. If the rental is less or equal, only the reservation date will be changed and the difference will not be refunded.

If the reservation is not cancelled, a penalty equivalent to 1 day's rent will be charged.

The time to make the refund will depend on the time established by the bank selected by the client to cover the payment. For refunds where the payment has been made using the interest free months, Alamo will not be responsible for the cancellation of recurring charges, in that case the customer must make the appropriate arrangements with your bank.
