1. The heart of the city is undoubtedly the main tourist site of Tampico. When walking through the center you will admire the architecture of the Porfirian era with its Art Nouveau style, influenced by the aesthetic revolution in Europe at the end of the 19th century and at the beginning of the 20th century. Highlights include the Tampico Cathedral, the old Telegraph building, the Customs building, the Municipal Palace or the House of Culture.
2. Miramar Beach offers the opportunity to practice water sports, as well as a beautiful landscape. It is possible to watch the dolphins swim in their waters, or the ships of multiple nationalities reach the mouth of the Pánuco River.
3. Tampico Cathedral, also known as Templo de la Inmaculada Concepción, has a neoclassical architecture and boasts beautiful Corinthian capitals on its facade. Inside there is a white marble altar with a beautiful image of the Inmaculada Concepción, a monumental German organ donated by a prestigious family in the area.
4. In the center of the Plaza de Armas is a kiosk popularly known as "El Pulpo", which was designed in Baroque style. Go back in time and enrich your visit admiring the architecture, the wide portals and beautiful balconies of downtown Tampico.
5. Plaza Libertad is located in the heart of the historic center of this beautiful city and is surrounded by colorful and interesting buildings, among which the Hacienda building is semicircular. In the center is a wrought iron kiosk, where the local orchestra entertains those present with their music.

6. Walk along the boardwalk of Miramar Beach, where you can admire the Monumento a los Marinos Caidos, in homage to the people who died during the Second World War on Mexican ships.
7. Tour the Laguna del Carpintero by boat with fish farms and nurseries, you will see turtles, iguanas, birds and crocodiles around you.
8. Meet the Aduana Maritima, a beautiful red British brick building that rises north of the Pánuco River, built with elements brought from Louisiana and France.
9. Visit the Tampico Bridge, one of the most ambitious projects of Mexican engineering, 18 meters wide and one and a half kilometers long, connects the city with the north of Veracruz, and is one of the main bastions of the image Tampico urban.
10. Do not forget to walk through the Tampico Metropolitan Cultural Space, a meeting place for students, teachers and lovers of arts and knowledge in general.
